Social Media Student Internship

Term: Internship placement will be for a fixed period of 6 months. Expected working hours will be 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Position, Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Position: Social Media Intern

2. Duties are as follows:
⦁Develop an understanding of the overall mission of the agency, including the brand, consumers, services provided, and online platforms needed.
⦁Provide written suggestions to management for improving/developing social media platforms, internal processes, and feedback on effectiveness.

3. Responsibilities are as follows:
⦁Ensure appropriateness of social media content, including images, text and video.
⦁Responsible for the development and management of the social media platforms and ensuring the various platforms increase our brands visibility and reputation.

Location:
Remote and in office. However, D’Veal serves the right, with appropriate consultation, to change location should the needs of the agency require a change.

Compensation: The stipend for this role is a flat rate of $1,500.

Policies and Procedures:
Intern will be subject to the terms and conditions as agreed and amended from time to time by D’Veal as outlined in any of its policies, procedures, handbooks and other relevant documents.

Confidentiality:
During the course of the internship, it may be necessary for D’Veal to share proprietary information, including trade secrets, industry knowledge, and other confidential information, in order to complete the Duties and Responsibilities. Intern will agree not to share any of this proprietary information at any time. Intern will not use any of this proprietary information for personal benefit at any time. This section remains in full force and effect even after termination of agreement by its natural termination or the early termination by either party.

Intellectual Property:
Intern agrees that any content provided by D’Veal in order to perform assigned duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to, images, videos, and text, copyrights or trademarks, remains solely owned by D’Veal. Intern will agree that any content provided by D’Veal in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to, images, videos, and text, copyrights or trademarks, is solely and legally owned by you, but intern will grant D’Veal a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any such content in connection with their duties and responsibilities. Any materials developed by D’Veal, making use of the content, remains the sole property of D’Veal. Work products created during the course of this internship remains the sole property of D’Veal.
