My name is Othella Loree Seavers, and I currently hold the position of Board Secretary at D'Veal Family Youth Services. Before my role at D'Veal Family Youth Services, I dedicated 25 years of service to the city of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, where I catered to the needs of numerous customers. Originally hailing from Alabama, I decided to relocate to California after I graduated from Continental Commercial College in Birmingham, Alabama. For over 44 years, Altadena, California, has been my residence, where my husband and I raised our three sons. During my leisure time, I enjoy culinary pursuits, hosting gatherings for family and friends, and following my favorite sports team. The core of my being lies in family life and extending a helping hand to others. Over the years, I have been actively engaged in community service through various organizations, serving in positions such as president of the local school PTA board, member of the National Council of Negro Women, and Director of the Agape Ministry at my local church. My dedication to assisting and supporting others has become integral to my identity. I derive immense satisfaction from being a positive influence and genuinely caring for others.
