John T. McCall, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of D'Veal Family and Youth Services Inc. (D'Veal). D'Veal, a community-based non-profit agency, is his brainchild, providing comprehensive outpatient mental health services to children and families. With a career spanning 44 years, John's dedication to community mental health organizations is unwavering. For the past 31 years, he has been the visionary leader of D'Veal, a testament to his commitment. John's passion for community involvement is palpable, and the opportunity to develop innovative and effective mental health programs that cater to the unique needs of minority communities is both his motivation and source of gratification.
John's academic journey began at Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana, where he earned his bachelor's degree in social work. He further honed his skills and knowledge at the University of Houston, Houston, Texas, where he obtained his Master's in Social Work. In 1985, he was recognized for his expertise and commitment to the field, receiving his license as a licensed clinical social worker from the State of California, Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. John is proud to be married to Juanita V. McCall and is the loving parent of three adult daughters, a testament to his dedication and balance in life.
