Job Description: Immediate openings for full-time Behavioral Specialist sought to serve diverse population in San Gabriel Valley area and/or greater Los Angeles area(s). Provides case management and advocacy services including obtaining consumer information, identifying needs and problems. Maintain a required caseload of clients (children) receiving active Mental Health Services. Collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to address the needs of the consumer. May be assigned to work in selected departments of the Agency including but not limited to Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist position translating treatment objectives into treatment techniques for implementation into the client’s program or the Wraparound Program as Child Family Specialist.
Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Two years related experience as described in the job description required. Prior experience with Department of Mental Health (DMH) documentation standards, strongly preferred.
